Maple Mountain High School would like to recognize two of their DECA club (Business & Marketing) members. For the past 3 years, Isaac Smith and Isaac James have participated in many team events at both the local and state level with hopes of qualifying for the National Competition. This year, as seniors, they competed as a team in the Business Law and Ethics division.

Congratulations to Tate Sorensen, Kaylee Roach, Ellie Maughan and Josh Bartold who were named the 2021 State Champions in Livestock Judging at the FFA Career Development Events!! Tate was 2nd high individual and Kaylee was 4th high individual. They will represent Utah at Nationals this fall. So proud of our students, good luck at Nationals!
Four Utah high school students were named National Cyber Scholars. They are among the best 600 high school students nationwide. Maple Mountain student, Isaiah Stoddard, is one of the 4 students in Utah to receive the scholarship.

Miriam Garcia, a Business and Computer Science teacher at Springville High School, was recently awarded a $2,000 scholarship by the Utah affiliate of ALAS (the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents).

Video Production Students from all across Utah compete in the annual Utah High School Film Festival. In categories like Public Service Announcement, Short Film, or Music Video, students bring their best projects of the year to the competition.
Thanks West Mountain Veterinary Hospital for having Alyssa Barlow from Payson High School complete an internship there this semester. She has loved learning about different procedures, how to restrain animals and watching surgeries!
