Student Has Oppurtunity to Intern with Springville City Attorney John Penrod

Exciting news! I am thrilled to share that Liberty Jenkins, a high school student, has been interning with Springville City Attorney John Penrod. Throughout her time with the attorney's office, Liberty has had the opportunity to watch court proceedings, learn about the files used in court, read police reports, and even watch police cams.

NEBO TWO-HOUR DELAYED START

Due to the recent storm, Nebo School District schools will be operating on a two-hour delayed start today, Wednesday, February 22, 2023. This means that if your school normally starts at 8:00 a.m., it will be starting at 10 a.m. Busses will also be running on a two-hour delayed schedule. All kindergarten and pre-school have been canceled.

Get the Scoop on CTE!

Career and Technical Education is a must have for many students at SSHS! During CTE month students were able to stop by the lunch booth to get information on how to become a CTE Pathway completer. We offer a variety of hands-on skill based classes that will benefit any student with lifelong skills.

Spanish Fork High School Hot Chocolate Social

As part of CTE Month, SFHS hosted a hot chocolate social where students were invited to enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate while visiting with CTE teachers.  At SFHS, we have an impressive range of opportunities for students seeking career training and exploration.  We truly have something for everyone in every career interest!

Mrs. Thacker is the Region FCCLA Advisor of the Year

On Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Region 4 conference of the Utah Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Kathy Thacker of Spanish Fork Jr. High was named Region FCCLA Advisor of the Year. This award is given to one advisor from the region, which includes: Juab, Nebo, Provo, Carbon, Emery, Grand, Tintic, North Sanpete, San Juan, and South Sanpete School Districts. In recognition of one advisor-educator who has gone above and beyond to serve the students of their school and advance the FCCLA program.
