Come Enjoy the World of Aviation at the URP 2nd Annual Fly-In and State Aviation Open House

Enjoy the world of aviation by attending the Utah Rotary Pathway 2nd Annual Fly-In and the State Aviation Open House. 

The URP event is located at Davis Catalyst Center in Kaysville. The event is from 1:00 pm to 5:pm on Thursday, April 27th, 2023. Bring the family and enjoy booths with industry members and many helicopters flying in from long distances for the public to get up close, look at, and potentially sit inside.

Spanish Fork Job Fair

Students at Spanish Fork were able to talk with local businesses about employment and career opportunities at the high school's Student Job Fair on April 13.  

Some of the businesses in attendance were: US Synthetic, Splash Summit Waterpark, Spanish Fork City, US Army, UVU College of Engineering, MTEC, United States Air Force, Big Sky Plumbing, Gunthers Heating & Cooling, North Slope Industries, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Sheet Metal Workers 312.

Academic Advantage Event

Every year, Utah Surgical Arts hosts "Academic Advantage," where junior high and high school students learn what a career in healthcare looks like, from the educational requirements to a "day in the life" of a medical professional. This year, the Academic Advantage event will be held on April 15th, 2023 at the Wilkinson Student Center at BYU.

Spanish Fork FFA Success

FFA had the opportunity to attend State FFA Convention March 9 and 10.  While there students had the opportunity to compete in events, listen to motivational speakers, attend workshops and network with other students from throughout the state.

SHHS Competes At Utah FBLA State Leadership Conference

Salem Hills FBLA had a wonderful experience at State. Kylee Cahoon, Jocie Neria, Andrea Johnson, Dylan Nielsen, Joshua Barrett, Lydia Hill, Michael Mayfield, Aileen Maldonado, Miguel Topete, and Kyle Fuel.

Lydia Hill and Michael Mayfield placed third in the category of Digital Animation are eligible to compete at FBLA Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia this summer. 

Kyle Fuel placed 6th in the area of Computer Problem Solving and was awarded a gold seal on his certificate, signifying that his score was among the top level of competence in that area.

Mrs. Ford's Business Office Specialists Receive Microsoft Office Certifications

Mrs. Ford’s Business Office Specialist students have the unique opportunity to become Microsoft Office Specialists by taking the industry-recognized MOS exams. Students who earn these certifications will possess marketable skills that will get them hired faster, and give them high-growth, advancement, and salary opportunities right out of high school!

MMHS Wins Big at State FBLA

Our MMHS FBLA club members took home multiple awards at the state FBLA competition this week! I'm so proud of them for their hard work! Several of our students qualified to attend the national competition in Atlanta, GA this summer!
