In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Shaun Black has been teaching for 13 years and currently teaches welding at Payson High School.

Shaun said the best thing about his job is getting to assist students in obtaining a valuable skill AND support them in becoming a productive part of our society AND watch them fabricate innovative things AND...

In his spare time, he enjoys riding motorcycles, jet skis, wakeboard, snowmobiles, & play racquetball. I like to build sketchy things that go fast, so only I can drive them.

When asked if he could live anywhere in the world he wanted, he said Utah.

When asked if there was anything he could not live without and he said he would have to have CHOCOLATE – “It makes my ticker keep up with my feet!”

When asked what animal he would be and why, he said a Lion because they are the dominant beast, the Alpha!.

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero he would be, he said Evil Knievel-because he's like Gumby he never gave up when he was stretched..

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
