In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.
Lauriejo Stillhart is a first-year teacher and is teaches Business at Salem Jr High School.
The best thing about her job is the students.
In her spare time, she loves riding horses.
When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she chose here in Utah. The one thing she could not live without is Vitamins – gotta fight the rona!
Her favorite food is Fish Tacos but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Tacos.
She said if she had a warning label it might say “Warning** May fall asleep randomly due to extreme tiredness.”
Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero she would be, she said Chriss Pratt (the velociraptor trainer) from Jurassic World - Because dinosaurs are awesome, but strangely, it would feel similar to teaching.
