In Nebo School district, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.
Janean Thomas has been teaching for 24 years. She currently teaches at Payson High School and teaches Sewing, Child Development, Fashion Design, and Early Childhood.
The best thing about her job is being with the kids and seeing them learn and being with the teachers and forming friendships and sharing ideas.
In her spare time, she loves to sew, garden, camping, boating, travel anywhere, and being a grandma to 5.
When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she chose Kentucky or Florida. If there is anything she could not live without, it would be chocolate.
Her favorite food is Halibut but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Homemade bread.
Since all teachers are superheroes when asked what another superhero she would be, she said Cinderella- she wins in the end.
