In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Barbara Larsen has been teaching for 22 Years. She currently teaches at Salem Jr High School and teaches Sewing and Foods.

The best thing about her job is working with the students, and sharing new information with them.

In Barbara’s spare time she loves riding her horses, traveling, eating out, movies and naps.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she chose Utah. When asked what she could not live without, it was her pillow – couldn’t sleep without it.

Her favorite food is Mexican and when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life she said it would be Steak Tacos.

She said if she had a warning label it might say, “Approach with caution. Mother Bear on Duty.”

When asked what animal she would be and why she said a horse, they are strong, powerful, and smart.

And since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero she would be she said Cat Women.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
