In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Amy Stanley has been teaching for 5 years and she currently teaches at Payson High School. Amy teaches Accounting, Robotics, Communications.

Amy said the best thing about her job is, “It's truly humbling to watch students grow and transform. I find myself leaving school with a smile often, looking back on students' light bulb moments or something interesting that may have happened in class.  I am inspired and honored by the connections I have made in my job and it keeps me coming back day after day looking forward to working. “

In her spare time, she loves to go fishing and taking long four-wheeling trips.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world they wanted, she said Toquerville Utah and if there was anything she could not live without, she said toilet paper.

Her favorite food is Steak and green salad but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Special K strawberries cereal..

If Amy had a warning label it would say “Warning: Organization Freak.”

When asked what animal she would be she said a Buffalo because it is powerful and has the coolest face.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
