In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Amy Carter has been teaching for 7 years and she currently teaches at Spanish Fork High School. Amy teaches Family and Consumer Sciences.

The best thing Amy says about her job is helping students gain skills that will help them throughout their life, no matter their career choice.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, Amy said New York City but she could not live without Google Maps because she is hopeless with directions.

Her favorite food is Chocolate chip cookies but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Mexican food and she would order dinner in.

She said if she had a warning label it may say “Warning: Cranky when hungry, thirsty, or tired.”

When asked what animal she would be, she said a manatee: they just float and eat all day long!

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero she would be, she said Hermione Granger.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
