SHHS FCCLA Achievements at Nationals

Mrs. McCarlie took 7 students to the National Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America  (FCCLA) competition in San Diego and brought home multiple national titles. In 1st place for promoting and publicizing FCCLA by Kaitlyn Millar and Sydney Murdoch. 3rd place in interior design by Samantha Walker and Haven Harris received gold placing 7th in entrepreneurship.  Bailey Black and Chelsea Mower received Silver medals.  Congratulations and way to represent Salem Hills High.

STAR Event results from FCCLA Nationals are in and these 5 Maple Mountian Golden Eagles ROCKED their competitions and their hard work has paid off!  Congratulations!!

Jessica Knotts Awarded 2022 National FCCLA Spirt if Advising Award

MMHS teacher and FCCLA advisor, Jessica Knotts, was awarded the 2022 National FCCLA Spirit of Advising Award at FCCLA Nationals. The MMHS community is so proud of Mrs. Knotts and appreciates all she does for the MMHS FCCLA program and for the students of MMHS! We are so thankful that Mrs. Knotts is a Golden Eagle!

Seth Christmas Takes Gold at SkillsUSA Nationals!

Seth Christmas from our ALC Collision classes took first place at SkillsUSA Nationals in Georgia on Saturday, June 25, 2022.  Seth competed in the Collision and Repair Technology Division using the skills he learned in his advanced collision courses with Chet Harmer at the ALC and his welding classes at MMHS from Jared Massic. Seth was able to travel to Georgia and compete due to the gracious support of the Nebo School District CTE Dept., Martin’s Collision, Cascade Collision, and Whitlock Auto Body.
