Springville High School senior, Abi Stewart , is gaining valuable experience through her internship with the Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
The lab, a collaboration between Utah State University, and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, plays a critical role in safeguarding animal health, protecting the agriculture economy, and shielding public health by diagnosing diseases that spread from animals to humans.
Abi has the unique opportunity to learn from experts in pathology bacteriology, virology, and molecular assays.
