On March 2 Nebo School District students had the opportunity to compete at Educators Rising state competition.  Each student planned and prepared for their competition and we are very proud of their hard work.  Nebo students received the following awards:

3rd Place in Exploring Education Administration Careers: Caitlyn Matys, ALC

2nd Place in Exploring Education Administration Careers: Ava Mickelson, ALC

2nd Place in Job Interview: Maloree Davis, ALC

3rd Place in Teacher Created Materials: Cole Gillespie, ALC

Brooklyn Hales has been appointed the Assistant Superintendent for the state Educators Rising chapter for the year 2022-2023. This is the first Nebo student to serve as a state officer for Educators Rising.  Brooklyn currently attends Payson High School.

Whitney Carter, a teacher at the ALC, was awarded Teacher Leader of the Year at the state Educators Rising competition.

Big congratulations to all!
