On January 25, the 14th annual Mr. Maple Mountain FCCLA fundraiser was held. 11 senior guys competed for the crown and title of Mr. Maple Mountain 2023. The packed auditorium audience was entertained throughout the entire evening with an opening dance number choreographed by Maple Mountain Dance Company, a swimsuit competition, a talent from each contestant, and evening wear. We honored two Mr. MMHS Ambassadors, Chris Olsen and Adam Everett. Our favorite Mr. Smith even came out of retirement for one night only to serve as the emcee. It is so awesome to see the Family and Consumer Sciences, photography, video, and drama programs come together and teams up for this fun night.This cross-curricular event is something that is looked forward to all year at Maple Mountain High! This year's contestants were: Ben Winward, Brevan Anderson, David McBride, Gavin Murray, Hayden Limb, Jaydon Matsuoka, Josh Leckie, Marcus Ream, Sam Cluff, Smith Edmunds, and Tate Hickman. Winners were: Mr. MMHS- Jaydon Matsuoka, 1st Runner Up: David McBride, 2nd Runner Up: Josh Leckie, Mr. Photogenic: Hayden Limb, Mr. Congeniality: Sam Cluff, Best Legs: Ben Winward, Best Costume: David McBride, Spirit of Mr. MMHS: Brevan Anderson.
