Alonzo Garcia is an excellent student at Maple Mountain High School; participating in Latinos in Action, enrolling in Concurrent Enrollment classes, and achieving excellent grades. Career & Technical Education classes he took, such as Entrepreneurship, Business Law, Computer Science Principles, and Intro to Engineering Design (some classes taught at Nebo's Advanced Learning Center) have led him to explore a career interest with Nebo's high school internship program.

Alonzo is currently interning with the dynamic engineering team at Little Giant Ladder Systems. He is able to be part of the intricate process of developing, building, and testing both existing and upcoming designs. Not only is he gaining valuable, hands-on experience with ladders, but also with the wide array of accessories that they manufacture.
Did you know that March marks National Ladder Safety Month? Little Giant Ladders takes this initiative seriously, actively participating in training and awareness videos on YouTube. It’s awesome that Alonzo can be part of a company that prioritizes both safety and innovation in equal measure!
