In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Kayla Duckworth has been teaching for 7 years. She currently teaches FCS and Foods 1 at Spanish Fork Jr High School.

The best thing about her job is being an influence in the lives of young people.

In her spare time, she enjoys being creative, painting, home decor, crafting, baking, and shopping for antiques.  She also enjoys spending time with my family and traveling.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said “On a beautifully peaceful island and she would have to have an endless supply of art and craft supplies.

Her favorite food is Mediterranean! When asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Chicken Shawarma Salad.

If Kayla had a warning label it would say “Warning: Good Vibes Only.“

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero she would be, she said “I just want to be me.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
