In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Sherry Heaps has been teaching for 45 Years. She currently teaches FCS – Foods & culinary at Payson High School.

The best thing about her job is working with students - Seeing their excitement when they learn something new or develop leadership skills!

In her spare time, she enjoys her time with family.

Her favorite food is BYU Roasted Almond Fudge Ice Cream with extra roasted almonds and if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Roasted Almond Fudge Ice Cream.

If Sherry had a warning label it would say “Warning: Attitude is Everything.... pick a good one!”

When asked what animal they would be she said a Giraffe - tall, slender, beautiful, and can see everything that is going on.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
