In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Jen Gardner has been teaching for 6 Years. She currently teaches Agriculture at Maple Mountain High School.

The best thing about her job is watching her kids gain an appreciation for agriculture. Jen said, “I love when they get hands-on experiences that they would not typically get, and when they learn skills that will help them become more self-sufficient. “

In her spare time, she enjoys Camping, to be away from the worries of the world, in the woods, with her family! No cellphone service and all the fresh air!”.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, Jen would like to live in North Carolina.

Her favorite food is Chips and Salsa!! If she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Pizza. You could add enough variety to pizza to make it work - pizza with red sauce, pizza with white sauce, breakfast pizza, fruit pizza, Thai curry pizza!

When asked what animal she would be she said definitely a dog because you could hang and play with friends and family and go on truck rides.

Since all teachers are superheroes when asked what other superhero she would be and Jen said, Hermione Granger.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
