Mrs. Kester, a Family Consumer Science teacher at Payson High School,  teaches the Individual and Family Relationships course where students learn valuable life skills. From conflict resolution to communication skills and healthy relationships, this course would benefit any student. "People who have healthy relationships are more likely to feel happier and satisfied with their lives. They are less likely to have physical and mental health problems. Healthy relationships can: increase your sense of worth and belonging and help you feel less alone." healthdirect.gov

Senior, Skylar Reiners said "I learn things about life in this class that actually matter. The most valuable thing I have learned is to use 'I feel statements' and that has totally improved my communication skills."
