The Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization stands as a beacon of excellence throughout the heartland of America where the fields stretch wide and the spirit of agriculture runs deep. Among the countless individuals who have dedicated their time and energy to support and uplift the FFA community, few stand out as brightly as Alan Ashton, J. Merrill Hallam, and Buddy Deimler. These distinguished individuals were recently honored for their exceptional contributions to FFA and agricultural education at the Utah State FFA Convention held on March 14th and 15th at Utah State University.

Alan Ashton received an honorary State FFA Degree for his support and commitment to building FFA programs within Nebo School District, while J. Merrill Hallam and Buddy Deimler received the Distinguished Service Award for their outstanding contributions to FFA and the agriculture community and education throughout the Nebo School District and across the state of Utah.

Alan Ashton is the Nebo CTE Coordinator, J. Merrill Hallam is the Nebo CTE Agriculture Specialist, and Buddy Deimler just retired as the Utah State Office of Education Agricultural Education CTE Specialist.

Thank you gentlemen for your commitment and advocacy to the FFA program and the agriculture community.
