FFA had some students with awesome success. The proficiency award program recognizes students for the skills they have developed through their Supervised Agriculture Experience (where they take what they learn in the classroom and apply it in a real-world setting). In January, 12 of our students were named Area Winners (our version of region). These students then moved on to the state competition which was held in late February.

We were fortunate enough to have 8 students that were named state winners and will now move on to Nationals. This is 25% of the total winners from the state! This is a pretty awesome accomplishment for our students. Congratulations to Rylei Voorhees, Tanner Voorhees, Kami Holt, Jesse Shepherd, Brock Carlile, Wade Coombs, Kaylee Roach, and Ashlyn Herbst.   These students will be rewarded during Virtual State Convention March 10-12.
