In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Kathy Thacker has been teaching for 16 years. She currently teaches at Spanish Fork Jr High School and teaches CCA, FACS A, Sewing Construction, and Textiles 1.

She said the best thing about her job is “My job never gets boring.  I love working with spazzy jr high students.”

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with my family and watching live theater.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said “Spanish Fork, I love it here.”

Her favorite food is Peanut butter bars and if she had to eat only one food for the rest of her life it would be a Salad – a Salad bar has everything.

She said if she had a warning label it would say, “Warning: May spontaneously burst into song!”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
