In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Rochelle Barber has been teaching for 12 years. She currently teaches at Salem Hills High School and teaches Teaching as a Profession.

She says the best thing about her job is “THE KIDS FOR SURE! They share the same love I have for the teaching profession.  It is fun to share something I am passionate about with people who have the same passion!”

In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything with my husband and kids! Traveling, golf, going to the movies and I even love to cook for them!” She also enjoys relaxing and reading a good book!

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said “ I love to travel but there is no place like home...I would never want to live anywhere else!”

If there was anything she could not live without it would be all of her Apple products.

Her favorite food is Mexican for sure! but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Potatoes...there are all kinds!

If Rochelle had a warning label it would say “Caution: when crabby please feed chocolate!.

When asked what animal she would be she said, “I would say a Dolphin.  They are good communicators, they are friendly and they are always in large pods!”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero or character she would be, she said anyone from Downton Abby.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
