In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Laurie Hansen has been teaching for 32 years years. She currently teaches Food and Nutrition at Salem Hills High School.

The best thing about her job is The students!.

In her spare time, she enjoys reclaiming and selling used stuff.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted she said close to her grandkids.

If there was anything she could not live without she said “Soap – I like clean stuff .”

Her favorite food is Potato chips and diet coke and if she had to eat one thing for the rest of her life it would be Potato chips and diet coke.

If Laurie had a warning label it would say “Warning: Don't bug me because I go to bed early!”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero she would be, she said “No idea - I am going to be a ballroom dancer in my next life!”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
