In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Krista Prusak has been teaching for 7 years and currently teaches at Maple Mountain High School Teaching Health Sciences.

The best thing about her job is seeing a student have the passion to learn and succeed.

In her spare time, she loves to go camping. When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she chose the mountains and she could not live without her Happy Planner and would have to have that with her.

Her favorite food is veggie burritos but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life, she said it would have to be Café Rio Veggie Salad and she would order in every meal.

She said if she had a warning label it might say “Beware! She wears her heart on her sleeve.”

When asked what animal she would be and why she said a puppy because they are so cute!.

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero she would be, she said baymax from Big Hero 6.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
