In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Kris Kelly has been teaching for 5 years. She currently teaches Family Consumer Science at Springville High School.

She said the best thing about her job is, “I love the subjects I teach and the life long impact they can have on my students. I love building relationships with my students and seeing the potential they have for the future.”

In her spare time, she enjoys digital design, sewing, and her grandkids.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said Star Valley, Wyoming-in the summer!

If there was anything she could not live without, she would have to have her glasses or contacts.

Her favorite food is Chinese food, Mexican food, & ice cream but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Homemade bread with homemade jam.

She said if they had a warning label it would say “Warning: I love to learn new things and when I am really interested in something I get completely obsessed with it.”

When asked what animal she would be she said, “ A spoiled little dog.  They get treated better than a human.”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero she would be, she said “Superman - because I would like to be able to fly.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
