In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Christine Thomas has been teaching for 16 years. She currently is the District Internship Coordinator.

The best thing about her job is meeting new people all the time and learning about their company/careers.

In her spare time, she enjoys Reading; young adult post-apocalyptic fiction!

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said Punta Rata Beach in Croatia.

If there was anything she could not live without she said “Leave in hair conditioner, to keep the static out of my hair in the winter - this is a real problem!”

Her favorite food is Crab legs dipped in melted butter with a side of raspberry cheesecake but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her she said, “I'd rather die than eat the same thing the rest of my life.”

If she had a warning it would say “Caution...when crabby... please feed Pepsi and chocolate.”

When asked what animal she would be she said, “The Red Fody!  I could love being this little bird native to Madagascar, flying everywhere and eating from the rice fields.”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero or character she would be, she said Iron Man's girlfriend, Pepper Potts.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
