CTE Month Teacher Spotlight - Katie Kelly

In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Katie Kelly has been teaching for 2.5 years. She currently teaches at Payson High School and teaches Digital Business Apps, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Digital Media, and runs the school Social Media Team!

Brian Blake has been teaching for 18 years. He is currently the CTE Specialist at Payson High School and teaches Internships.

The best thing about his job is working with people.

In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, being outside, and doing projects.

Kathy Thacker has been teaching for 16 years. She currently teaches at Spanish Fork Jr High School and teaches CCA, FACS A, Sewing Construction, and Textiles 1.

She said the best thing about her job is “My job never gets boring.  I love working with spazzy jr high students.”

Kelsey Larson has been teaching for 1 year. She currently teaches at Diamond Fork Jr High School and teaches Foods 1.

She said the best thing about her job is “Helping my students have a safe place to be and learn.”

Micah Bradshaw has been teaching for 22 years. She currently teaches at Spanish Fork High School and teaches Business Math and Personal Finance.

The best thing about her job she says “The kids!  Honestly they are what makes my job fun!”

The best thing about his job is working with kids to help them succeed.

In his spare time, he enjoys anything to do with the mountains.

Blake Nielsen has been teaching for 16 Years. He currently teaches at Spanish Fork High School and Advanced Learning Center and teaches Woodworking/Drafting.

The best thing about his job is helping kids build projects that they are proud of and watching them grow in the process.
