Jace Platero has loved math since he can remember. After taking various business classes and Accounting and Economics, he decided he would like to pursue a career in accounting and finance.
Jace is currently completing an internship with Spanish Fork City’s Finance/Utilities office. His experience has been truly invaluable, as he has gained an inside look into the intricacies of planning the city’s finances and the responsibilities involved.
During his internship, Jace has had the opportunity to learn the essential tasks of an accountant, such as managing payroll, and ensuring that every employee is paid correctly. Additionally, he also gained knowledge on accounts payable and the importance of paying invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
