January 13, 2020, the Annual Welding Competition was held at MMHS. Salem Hills, Spanish Fork, Maple Mountain, and Springville High School welding programs were in attendance along with neighboring Provo High School. This competition has evolved from a welding competition to also include a fabrication competition, so double the number of students has the opportunity to get involved. Each school was able to bring 6 of their elite students to compete against each other.

Submitted by nikki.argyle on Mon, 12/02/2019 - 10:54

Salem Hills High School has built up a great schedule of Concurrent Enrollment course offerings for our students. Starting in 2013 we have been receiving awards from Utah Valley University for being one of the top schools in the state running Concurrent Enrollment through UVU. This year the director, Spencer Childs said: "I am pleased that Salem Hills High School had the largest course enrollment in the UVU region." UVU is great with awarding us a plaque to display in our counseling office.
