Free Breakfast and Lunch to ALL Nebo School District Students

Starting on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, Nebo School District will again offer FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL Nebo students throughout the 2021-22 school year through an extended waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Schools will serve meals in their cafeterias and maintain their regularly established schedules. Although not required, applications are encouraged and may help your family qualify for other benefits.

Salem Hills High School at National FCCLA Conference

Salem Hills High School students Brie Erickesen, Peyton Kilpatrick, Sydney Murdoch, and Kaitlyn Millar all had an amazing showing at our FCCLA National Leadership Conference! Brie competed in Fashion Design and won 1st Place overall in the nation.  She won a $36,000 scholarship to FIDM in Los Angeles, and she can't wait to attend there after high school.  Peyton, Sydney, and Kaitlyn competed on a team in the Hospitality and Tourism category and won a Gold medal.  We are so proud of all of their hard work,

MTECH - NEW DAYTIME PLUMBING and ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS OFFERED IN OREM!

Hey! Are any students interested in an Electrical or Plumbing Apprenticeship?! There are now daytime courses available for Seniors in HS to take without being employed.  These courses are set up so that students will be able to take the "first-year" coursework for plumbing or electrical in one semester as well as the "second year" in the following semester.  Ultimately, a student can complete 2 years of course work in 2 semesters.

Backpack Giveaway

Tabitha's Way Gear Up for School Event will take place on July 31, 2021, from 9 - 11 am. The event will take place at the Indoor Tennis Courts at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds at 475 S Main St.

The purpose of this event is to help kids "gear up" for school by providing free new backpacks filled with school supplies for children in need. There will also be other free resources available as well as a free lunch to those 18 years of age and younger, provided by the Utah Food Bank.

Please help us get these backpacks to your students in need by completing this form.

Congratulations National Gold Medalists MMHS Welding 2021

Congratulations to our MMHS National Gold Medalists in Welding 2021 coached by Jared Massic. This year the National Champions include Justin Daybell, Oliver Davis, and Seth Christmas. There were 30 teams competing and the students found out via Zoom call that they won it all.

Mr. Massic exclaimed, “National Champs in Welding Fabrication. What a ride! They pulled it off! A crazy build, in a crazy year, in a crazy format. Take nothing for granted. 
Enjoy it, you earned it.”

MMHS DECA at Nationals

Maple Mountain High School would like to recognize two of their DECA club (Business & Marketing) members.  For the past 3 years, Isaac Smith and Isaac James have participated in many team events at both the local and state level with hopes of qualifying for the National Competition.  This year, as seniors, they competed as a team in the Business Law and Ethics division.

FFA State Champs!

Congratulations to Tate Sorensen, Kaylee Roach, Ellie Maughan and Josh Bartold who were named the 2021 State Champions in Livestock Judging at the FFA Career Development Events!!  Tate was 2nd high individual and Kaylee was 4th high individual.  They will represent Utah at Nationals this fall. So proud of our students, good luck at Nationals!
