In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents and for our district. February is CTE month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

J.T. Collett has been teaching for 17. He currently teaches at Mapleton Jr High School and teaches CCA, Exploring Tech, & Manufacturing Tech.

The best thing about his job is Seeing the students "get" it.

In his spare time, he enjoys Cycling.

When asked if he could live anywhere in the world he wanted he said, “Somewhere warm enough to ride bikes all year.”

He doesn’t have a favorite food but if he had to eat one food for the rest of his life he said “I would just quit eating. I need variety.”

If J.T. had a warning label it would say “Warning a little unpredictable at times.”

When asked what animal he would be and he said, “A Sloth, They move just fast enough to be able to smell the roses.”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero or character he would be and he said, “The main character from Louis L' Amour books.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
