In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Travis Young has been teaching for 20 Years. He currently teaches at Payson Jr High School and teaches Exploring Tech and Small Animal Science.

The best thing about his job is working with kids to help them succeed.

In his spare time, he enjoys anything to do with the mountains.

When asked if he could live anywhere in the world he wanted, he would like to live in Alaska.

His favorite food is steak but if he had to only eat one food for the rest of his life it would be Barbeque marinated turkey.

If Travis had a warning label it would say “Warning: Hearing protection required“.

When asked what animal he would be he said, “This year it would have to be a Skunk. Social distance isn't questioned.”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero he would like to be and he said Shrek.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
