In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Robyn Dunn has been teaching for 20 years. She is currently the CTE Program Specialist at Maple Mountain High School.

The best thing about her job is working with the kids! Robyn said, “I love the energy of the high school and the excitement that students bring to the hallways and classrooms. I like helping students see past high school and make plans for college and careers.  I also love the faculty and staff at Maple Mountain High School. They really make the job fun!”

When asked what she does in her spare time, she said, “ I enjoy reading and quilting.  and I started my first garden last year. I'm also a big BYU football fan and I can't wait for this coming season and more in-person games.”

If she could live anywhere in the world she wanted she said, “I fell in love with Ohio on a recent trip there and actually started looking at houses, but my kids freaked out and I think I'd miss my family here in Utah. I'd like a large house with acreage, maybe out in Mona or Santaquin or somewhere quiet.”

If there was anything she could not live without it would be Diet Coke – gotta have the caffeine.

Her favorite food is Mexican but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Peanut M&Ms.

If she had a warning label it would say “Warning: Look, I'm originally from Gallup, NM. You might want to think twice before you talk to me that way."

When asked what animal she would be she said, “A Tiger. Top of the food chain.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
