In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Kelsey Chappell has been teaching for 3 years. She currently teaches at Springville High School and teaches FCS - Food & Nutrition 1 & 2, ProStart.

The best thing about her job is the students! Kelsey said, “I love working with them and seeing their creativity, passion, and excitement.”

In her spare time, she enjoys Baking, sewing, and playing card/board games.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said anywhere near her family. If there was anything she could not live without is toilet paper, because you definitely need it for comfortable living!

Her favorite food is Ice Cream but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be pasta or cereal.

She said if she had a warning label it would say “Caution: will laugh at basically everything!”

When asked what animal she would be she said “A flamingo- I think they are interesting and beautiful animals.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
