The 2018 FCCLA National Leadership Conference was held in Atlanta, GA the last week of June. With the theme of "Inspired", 211 students and 92 advisers/chaperones from Utah attended dynamic workshops and break-out sessions, participated in STAR Events, met new people and expanded their leadership potential. Great memories were made at the various tourist Atlanta attractions which included the Coca-Cola Word, Georgia Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum and other locals attractions.

Four Nebo students from two schools competed against students from each of the 50 states.  Hillary Hirst, Sophia Hirst, and Isabel Hirst (sisters from Maple Mountain High) competed in the Hospitality and Tourism event and earned silver medals.  Kenzie Wilkinson (Salem Hills High) competed in Fashion Design, earning gold. The FCCLA National Master Adviser Award was presented to Jessica Knotts, Maple Mountain High.

Next year's FCCLA National Leadership Conference will be held in Anaheim, California, June 30-July 4, 2019.
