Maple Mountain High School recently submitted an application and letter to ESAB to partcipate in the "Weld in Forward" contest.  They have been selected as a Semi-finalist.

Ladd Davis and Nate Wright, students along with Jared Massic, welding instructor, wrote essays to get entered. Maple Mountain High was selected as one of the top 3. " If we win the next phase we will win $20,000 of Welding equipment. The next phase is a service based fabrication project where we "weld it forward" and will be voted on by the public as well as scored by a panel of judges," said Jared Massic.

If you have any ideas or know of a need in the community let me know. The only requirements are that it's 3'x2'x2' in size. And we have to use a box of random nuts and bolts and stuff ESAB sent us.
