In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Whitney Carter has been teaching for 9 years. She currently teaches Teacher education at Advanced Learning Center.

The best thing about her job is the students, the people she works with, and the ability to be creative!

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and making something creative.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said St. George or Hawaii (somewhere warm). If there is anything she can not live without she said, “It would have to have Lysol cleaning spray- smells so clean and helps keep my house cleaning under control.”

Her favorite food is Tri-Tip but when asked if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Popcorn.

She said if she had a warning label it would say “Warning ⚠️ this girl is indecisive. “

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero she would be, she said Belle because she’s sweet and selfless yet courageous and brave.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
