In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Shauna Whittekiend has been teaching for 27 years. She currently teaches at Spanish Fork High School and teaches Business.

She said the best thing about her job is “Working with students--no two days are ever the same :) I love the variety.”

In her spare time, she enjoys reading suspense/thriller novels.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world they wanted, she chose Maui.

If there was anything she could not live without she said she would have to have Online ordering and Grocery Pickup.

Her favorite food is Mexican but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Hawaiian Papaya.

If Shauna had a warning label it would say “Warning: May contain sarcasm, don't take it personally.”

When asked what animal she would be she said “A dog because I'm a loyal companion and would love my person fiercely.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
