In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Myra Miller has been teaching for 24+ years. She currently teaches at Mt Nebo Middle and teaches CCA.

She says the best thing about her job is “I like it when a student catches on and when they find something new that they are interested in.”

In her spare time, she enjoys Cycling (go team C4C), Gourmet Cooking, Baking, Gardening, Sewing, Organizing, Going to Yard Sales, Camping, & Sleeping.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world they wanted, she said “Mapleton Utah - it's my hometown.”

If there was anything she could not live without she said “Thanks to COVID for helping me narrow that one down, Toilet paper.  There's not always another option available to take care of the job that TP does.”

Her favorite food is homemade Eggplant Parmesan with Mushrooms and Alfredo Sauce and if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Salad.

If Myra had a warning label it would say “Warning: If accidentally swallowed please induce vomiting.”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what other superhero she would be, she said Halt from Ranger's Apprentice.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
