In Nebo School district, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Doni Bufton has been teaching for 15 years. She currently teaches 6th Grade STEM at Mt Nebo Middle.

Doni said the best thing about her job is, “ I get to learn and discover new things alongside of my students.  There are never any dull moments and sometimes I forget who the adult in the room is.”

In her spare time, she enjoys Side-by-Side riding, camping, and painting.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said somewhere in the Mountains.

The one thing she could not live without is Big Fat Sexy Hair Spray.

Her favorite food is King Crab at Red Lobster but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be I scream, You scream, We all scream for Ice cream!!

If Doni had a warning label it would say, “Warning: Never turn on music, she will dance.”

When asked what animal she would be she said “I would be a fox, of course!”

Since all teachers are superheroes, when asked what another superhero she would be, she said “None, I just want to be me.”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
