In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Bonny Groneman has been teaching for 24 years. She currently teaches at Mapleton Jr High School and teaches FACS - CCA and Clothing.

The best thing about her job is, “Love teaching the students how to sew and gain a love for sewing!  I love seeing them make fun projects and get excited about them.  Watching the students in their first Foods Lab is always crazy!”

In her spare time, she enjoys sewing clothes, quilt at home, taking care of my flowers, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and seeing new places and cultures is one of her favorite things to do!

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she  wanted, she said, “I love living in Springville in the family home!”

Her favorite food is Italian Food but if she had to only eat one food for the rest of her life it would be Delicious soups and salads.

If Bonny had a warning label it would say, “Warning: If you want me to be happy and nice- make sure I have some good food to eat, a sewing machine and some fabric, and friends to sew with!”

When asked what animal she would be she said, “Some kind of Dog. People love to talk to their dogs and hang out with them and I love talking and spending time with friends and family!”

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
