In Nebo School District, we have amazing CTE teachers! We are so grateful for all that they do for our students, parents, and for our district. February is CTE Month and to celebrate our teachers we would like to spotlight them and share a few fun facts we have learned about each of them.

Aubrey Turnbow has been teaching for 12 years. She is currently the CTE Specialist at Salem Hills High School and teaches Internships.

The best thing about her job she says is “My Grandpa always said it was June, July, and August.”

In her spare time, she enjoys 4-Wheeling, traveling, volleyball, and mt. biking.

When asked if she could live anywhere in the world she wanted, she said Hawaii.

If there was anything she could not live without it would be Eyeliner.

Her favorite food is Homemade Lasagna and if she had to eat only one thing for the rest of her life it would be Chocolate.

If Aubrey had a warning label it would say “Warning: Redheads are sunshine mixed with a little hurricane.”

When asked what animal she would be she said, “A dog because I love being around friends and family. Much like a dog, I’m happiest when I get to have my hair blowing in the wind, someone to love me, and freedom to explore the outdoors.”

Since all teachers are superheroes when asked what other superhero or character she would be she said Lois Lane - Superman's woman.

Thank you for all that you do for CTE and Nebo School District.
