Payson High FFA Receives Awards at National Convention

Eighteen members, three advisors, and two parents attended the 92nd National FFA Convention on October 29th through November 2nd in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Members attended agricultural tours, educational sessions, workshops, a career show, expo, rodeo, concert, competed in a National Contest and received their American FFA Degree.

Maple Mountain FFA attends 92nd National Convention

Maple Mountain High School was extremely proud of Breanna Harding, as she competed in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking LDE contest at the 92nd FFA National Convention. Breanna was the first National FFA competitor from Maple Mountain in the chapter's history! Her hard work and dedication were amazing in preparing for this competition, and she represented the state of Utah in the highest regards!  The Maple Mountain FFA chapter was able to tour agricultural sites and industries while attending the 92nd FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Recycle & Re-Design Fashion Show

The Family and Consumer Sciences department and FCCLA club are proud to announce our upcoming Recycle & Re-Design Fashion show on Thursday, November 14th! It will be held in the Little Theater at 6:30 pm. Students from the Sewing and Fashion Design Studio classes will be making designs out of unconventional materials, and competing for the best look! Come see what they have made, enjoy a treat by the ProStart culinary class, and see all the amazing things our SFHS students can do! Entertainment will also be provided by our Fine Arts Department.

Spanish Fork High FFA Chapter has National Convention Success

Spanish Fork FFA recently returned from the 92nd National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis Indiana. While there, students had the opportunity to compete, listen to motivational speakers, attend workshops, talk to potential employers and schools, and learn more about agriculture through industry tours.  Eight students had the opportunity to compete in five different competitions, where we were able to have some incredible success.

Springville FFA Represents Utah at the 92nd National FFA Convention

14 Springville High school students spent last week in Indianapolis, Indiana for the National FFA Convention and Expo. We were honored to have 2 state winning teams from Springville this year. Our Agricultural Communications team coached by our new FFA Advisor McKayla received a Silver Ranking for their efforts. Agricultural Communications team members are Kameron Talbot, Jaynee Giffing, Rachel Hetfield and Karly Bracken. Our Agricultural Sales team coached by Ellary Hendrickson our Junior High FFA Advisor also received a Silver Ranking in their contest.

SFHS FBLA & DECA Clubs Tour Business

Students from our FBLA and DECA clubs had the unique opportunity to tour and meet with business executives from DoTerra and RevRoad.  Students gained insight into different aspects of a business and what it takes to operate successful companies.  Thanks to DoTerra and RevRoad for hosting us!

SFHS Prostart Students

SFHS Prostart students traveled to Salt Lake City on October 29th to learn more about the art of cooking and managing restaurants.  Students attended classes taught by professional chefs including knife skills, chicken fabrication, competition training, and workplace safety.
