Whitney Carter's Interior Design class built their own gingerbread houses while learning about Housing Styles. These styles include Log Cabin, Cape Cod, Victorian, Spanish, Greek Revival, Craftsman, and Tudor. Can you identify which is which?
Congratulations to Kristi Mendenhall who placed 1st in the State Make It With Wool Contest in the Junior Division! She went on to the National contest held in San Antonio, Texas and placed 7th in the Nation.
Kristi is a 9th grade student from Mapleton Junior High in Mrs. Groneman's Clothing Class.Nebo Advanced Learning Center was privileged to send 6 representatives to Kansas to visit the headquarters of the “CAPS Network”. CAPS, or Centers for Advanced Professional Studies, are programs that are recognized as innovative high school programs. Students have unique opportunities to be immersed in a professional culture and solve real world problems using industry tools. The ALC is working toward securing professional mentors from the business community to support our newly established program.
